Speaking at the conference, Mr. Luu Ba Mac, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lang Son province, stated that the tourism industries of the two localities share similarities but also have differences. Lang Son is a mountainous province located in the Northeast of Vietnam with a border with China, while Binh Thuan is in the South Central coastal region with a coastline of over 190 km. Nevertheless, with their potential and advantages in beautiful natural landscapes, convenient transportation, many unique tourism products, diverse cuisine, and hospitality, cooperation and connection can promote tourism development between the two provinces in the future.

Many of these heritages have been included in the national list of intangible cultural heritage, recognized by UNESCO, and inscribed as representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity (such as the Then practice of the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups in Vietnam, and the Tam Phu Mother Goddess worship practice of the Vietnamese people)...

On this occasion, leaders of the Binh Thuan Tourism Association shared their experiences in guiding investment in tourism product development, promoting and advertising effectively, and training human resources to meet current requirements. Local businesses also participated, offering suggestions and proposing solutions to enhance information exchange and connect tour routes to bring tourists to Lang Son and Binh Thuan provinces for relaxation and unique, attractive tourism experiences.
