(Fatherland) - On the afternoon of November 18, the photo exhibition "Colors of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups" opened at the Center for Appraisal and Exhibition of Fine Arts and Photography Works, 29 Hang Bai, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions in coordination with relevant units, with the desire to honor, spread, introduce and promote the unique and precious cultural values of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

Attending the event were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, Vice President of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council Tran Thi Hoa Ry; representatives of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions and many artists and photography enthusiasts.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized: Vietnam has 54 ethnic groups living together. The community of Vietnamese ethnic groups was formed and developed along with the historical process of thousands of years of building and defending the country, bringing Vietnam a beautiful, diverse and unified picture, in which the cultural identity of Vietnamese ethnic groups is a unique and rare color.
