To implement the Plan for organizing the Hung Kings Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week in the year of the Horse 2026, and to promote the sense of responsibility, initiative, and volunteerism of youth union members, the Provincial Youth Union has proactively developed a plan for propaganda and organized many practical activities.

Comrade Bui Duc Giang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, affirmed: The activities are implemented to honor the national cultural identity and the values of the Hung King era; affirm the sacred significance of the Hung King Commemoration Day - a national holiday; and at the same time educate on the traditional moral principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," the spirit of self-reliance, and the great national unity. Through this, the awareness and responsibility of cadres, union members, youth, and the people are enhanced to remember their roots, express gratitude for the merits of the Hung Kings and other ancestors who contributed to building and defending the nation; and promote the pioneering role of young people in contributing to the successful organization of the festival's activities.

From the 1st to the 10th day of the third lunar month, the Provincial Youth Union mobilized over 5,000 young volunteers from various youth organizations throughout the province to participate in maintaining environmental hygiene and guiding pilgrims at the Hung Temple historical site. These young volunteers not only collected garbage and educated visitors on maintaining cleanliness and disposing of waste properly, but also acted as guides, introducing visitors to the land and people of Phu Tho , especially the activities in this year's festival program.

While collecting trash along the ceremonial route with her university's volunteer youth team, Ly Thi Say, a student from Hung Vuong University, shared: “This is my first year participating in volunteer activities at the Hung Temple Festival. I feel very happy and honored to be selected for the volunteer team. Upon arriving at the Hung Temple historical site, one can see the large number of visitors and the extensive area where activities take place, so the volunteer team is very responsible in completing the task. We all hope that through this activity, we will preserve the landscape, raise people's awareness when participating in the festival, and create a green, clean, and beautiful space.”

In reality, in previous years, there was still a problem of some tourists lacking awareness and littering in inappropriate places. However, in recent years, the festival organizers have strengthened environmental protection measures. Besides the volunteer force, the site's cleaning staff operates regularly; mobile trash bins have been placed more frequently in public areas. Thanks to these efforts, along with timely awareness campaigns and reminders, the awareness of locals and tourists has improved significantly, contributing to the preservation of the environment.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tao (Vinh Yen ward) said: "This year, the festival organization was thorough and well-planned. The image of young volunteers in their green shirts participating in cleaning and guiding visitors to dispose of trash properly left a beautiful impression, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of young people during the Ancestor Commemoration Day."

Through concrete and practical actions, the activities of the Youth Union have contributed to educating about patriotic traditions and profound gratitude towards the Hung Kings and our ancestors; spreading the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," and arousing pride in the historical traditions and cultural heritage of our homeland.

The proactive and voluntary spirit of the "blue-shirted" volunteers has made a significant contribution to the overall success of the festival, building the image of a "green," civilized, and friendly festival in the hearts of visitors from all over the world.
