Providing feedback on draft laws prepared by the Ministry of Public Security and submitted to the 15th National Assembly.

On the afternoon of April 28th, the Ha Giang Provincial Police Department organized a workshop to disseminate information and contribute to the drafting of laws chaired by the Ministry of Public Security for submission to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly in 2025. Attending the conference was Ms. Ly Thi Lan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang Province.

At the conference, representatives from the Provincial Police's staff presented the content of five draft laws, spearheaded by the Ministry of Public Security and submitted to the 15th National Assembly, including: the Law on Personal Data Protection; the amended Law on the Organization of Criminal Investigation Agencies; the amended Penal Code; the Extradition Law; and the Law on the Transfer of Prisoners Serving Sentences.

To ensure unity and high consensus when the Law is promulgated, the Provincial Party Committee and the leadership of the Provincial Public Security Department hope to continue receiving attention and feedback from the National Assembly representatives of the province, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and other agencies, departments, and all sectors of the population. Public security units and localities will continue to thoroughly understand and seriously implement propaganda work, proactively disseminating information in accordance with the Government and Ministry of Public Security's directives on the drafting and promulgation of the five draft laws. They will proactively advise local Party committees and authorities to direct and strengthen propaganda work, further raising awareness among officers, soldiers, and all sectors of the local population about the meaning, importance, and necessity of promulgating the five draft laws.

Highly appreciating the opinions discussed at the workshop, Ms. Ly Thi Lan, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province, stated that these were accurate, objective opinions stemming from practical experience. From this, the Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province proposed that the drafting agency develop laws that are closely aligned with reality and effectively contribute to social life. The Head of the National Assembly Delegation also noted that the draft laws prepared by the Ministry of Public Security were very thorough and meticulous, institutionalizing the Party and State's guiding principles on streamlining the organizational structure, and aligning with the organizational structure after the merger.
