Comments on draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security and submitted to the 15th National Assembly

On the afternoon of April 28, Ha Giang Provincial Police organized a workshop to disseminate and contribute to the drafting of draft laws chaired by the Ministry of Public Security to submit to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly in 2025. Attending the conference were comrade Ly Thi Lan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of the 15th National Assembly of Ha Giang province.

At the conference, representatives of the Provincial Police Staff Department presented the contents of five draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security to be submitted to the 15th National Assembly, including: Law on Personal Data Protection; Law on Organization of Criminal Investigation Agencies (amended); Penal Code (amended); Law on Extradition; Law on Transfer of Prisoners.

In order to create unity and high consensus when the Law is promulgated, the Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police Department hope to continue to receive attention and comments from the Provincial National Assembly deputies, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and agencies, departments and people of all walks of life. The police of units and localities continue to organize and seriously implement propaganda work, proactively provide information in accordance with the direction of the Government and the Ministry of Public Security on the development and promulgation of 5 draft Laws. Proactively advise local Party committees and authorities to direct the promotion of propaganda work, further raising awareness among cadres, soldiers and people of all walks of life in the locality about the meaning, importance and necessity of promulgating 5 draft Laws.

Highly appreciating the opinions discussed at the workshop, comrade Ly Thi Lan, head of the 15th National Assembly delegation of Ha Giang province, said that these were valid and objective opinions, originating from practical work. From there, the head of the 15th National Assembly delegation of Ha Giang province proposed that the drafting agency build laws that are close to reality and promote their role in social life. The head of the provincial National Assembly delegation also said that the draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security were very thoughtful and thorough, institutionalizing the Party and State's guiding views on the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, in accordance with the structure and organization of the apparatus after implementing the merger plan.
