The fireworks display aims to create an exciting atmosphere, patriotism and solidarity among the people of the capital to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Accordingly, the fireworks display will take place at 10:00 p.m. on August 10 and last for 8 minutes with a scale of 300 high-altitude fireworks and 60 low-altitude fireworks at the F1 racetrack area, Tu Liem ward.
The program is implemented with a budget of 1 billion VND from socialized sources.
On the evening of September 2, Hanoi also organized fireworks displays at 5 locations: Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium and West Lake in the form of traditional and artistic fireworks.
As planned, the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2nd will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2nd, 2025 at Ba Dinh Square and some central streets of Hanoi (according to the Project on organizing military parades and marches during the celebration, military parades and marches of the Ministry of National Defense ).
About 30,000 people are expected to participate (not including parade and marching forces).
The specific program of the celebration, parade, and march includes:
• 6:30: Traditional torch procession.
• 6:45: Flag salute ceremony.
• 6:50: Statement of reasons, introduction of delegates.
• 7:05: Speeches by Party and State leaders.
• From 7:45: Parade program.
• 9:45 - 10:00: The art performance ends.
To prepare for the celebration, parade, and march, there will be a preliminary rehearsal at 9:00 p.m. on August 27, 2025 (reserve for August 28); a general rehearsal at 7:00 a.m. on August 30, 2025 (reserve for August 31).
