Hanoi: 12-year-old boy assaulted in the street.

On August 22nd, Mr. NHT (residing in Mai Dong ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi ) reported that his 12-year-old son had been assaulted, resulting in facial injuries and requiring hospitalization.

According to information provided by Mr. T., at approximately 5 PM on August 18th, his son, M. (12 years old), was playing ball with his friends at the New Horison City apartment complex (Mai Dong ward, Hanoi). During the game, a dispute arose between the two teams, leading to a physical altercation.

After that, M.'s team moved to another area to play, while the other team left. Then, a man around 30 years old arrived on a motorbike and assaulted M. in front of many witnesses.

The apartment building's security camera recorded the incident.

According to Mr. T., his son was brought home by a friend in a state of heavy bleeding, with a laceration to the head and numerous soft tissue injuries to the face, neck, shoulders, and arms.

The family took the child to the emergency room, where a long wound near the eye was stitched up with three stitches. Currently, M. is still experiencing headaches and pain in many parts of the body, occasional dizziness and nausea, and is in a state of panic and fear...

The shirt was stained with M.'s blood after she was beaten.

On the evening of August 18th, Mr. T.'s family filed a report with the Mai Dong Ward Police, along with images and video footage from the apartment building's security cameras documenting the entire incident. Meanwhile, an officer from the Mai Dong Ward Police (Hoang Mai District) stated that they had received the report and were processing the case, forwarding it to the Hoang Mai District Police Investigation Agency for handling according to their jurisdiction.
