Spanning nearly 400m², Hanoi Halal Restaurant has four floors offering dining, breakfast coffee, conference facilities, small parties, and areas for prayer and Wudu (a traditional Muslim practice), aiming to serve the local and international Muslim community as well as diners interested in clean food.
The launch of Hanoi Halal contributes to completing the ecosystem of services for welcoming Muslim tourists with strict culinary requirements, marking an important step in bringing Halal standards into the urban food service industry.
Ms. An Thanh Nhan, the founder of the restaurant, said that Halal (Arabic for "permitted") is a strict food standard that stipulates that the entire supply chain does not use prohibited ingredients, does not cause cross-contamination, does not use harmful additives, and ensures that the processing is transparent, hygienic, and ethically sound.

Halal certification is one of the important criteria for entering the global Muslim market, with over 2.3 billion consumers in ASEAN, the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, and Europe.
At Hanoi Halal, the entire process is implemented according to Islamic law under the direct supervision of experts from Halal Vietnam HVN, ensuring transparency and compliance with strict requirements.
