Ms. Pham Thi Kim Hue, Deputy Principal of Chuong Duong Secondary School (Hong Ha, Hanoi ), shared: "Right from the beginning of the school year, the school has developed a review plan in stages, clearly differentiating student groups to provide appropriate solutions."

Subject-specific teams, especially in Mathematics, Literature, and English, regularly review quality, build question banks, and organize tests following the structure and guidelines of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to familiarize students with exam pressure and time management skills.

The school maintains free remedial classes for students with limited knowledge and advanced training for students aiming to enter top-tier high schools. Homeroom teachers and subject teachers work closely with parents to monitor each student's progress and psychological state, avoiding excessive pressure during the "final push" period.

In addition to academics, the mental health of graduating students is extremely important. The school is strengthening activities such as psychological counseling, career guidance, and stress reduction skills before exams; while also maintaining experiential activities, sports , and group activities to help students achieve balance instead of just studying continuously.

"In addition, the application of technology and AI in teaching is effectively supporting 9th-grade students. Some teachers guide students in using AI correctly to practice exam questions, systematize knowledge, correct mistakes, and build personalized study plans, helping them to be more proactive in the exam preparation process and bringing about noticeable results," Ms. Pham Thi Kim Hue informed.

With 675 12th-grade students, Mr. Nguyen Ky Nam – Principal of Hoai Duc B High School (An Khanh, Hanoi) shared that teachers discuss and advise parents, requesting their attention to the time and space allocated for their children's study areas. Teachers categorize students and provide review guidance tailored to their specific needs. The school organizes mock exams and reviews papers multiple times to familiarize students with the structure of the high school graduation exam.

According to Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong, Principal of Thai Thinh Secondary School (Dong Da District, Hanoi), the school organizes reasonable review sessions and hones skills for challenging questions to increase students' confidence. They also organize mock exams similar to the official exam to familiarize students with all aspects of the test, and provide training for teachers on invigilation procedures for the 10th grade entrance exam. Furthermore, they maintain a school psychological counseling room to alleviate student stress.

The homeroom teachers of the 9th grade closely coordinate with parents every day to support their children. Parents and the school collaborated to organize the "Under the Banyan Tree - Season 52" program to express gratitude to teachers and celebrate the 15th birthday of the 9th grade students. The students had the opportunity to showcase their artistic and musical talents, helping them gain confidence before the upcoming important exams.

Specifically, Mr. Cuong stated that the "Study at Night to Win Exams" model, implemented by Thai Thinh Secondary School, involves evening classes where students can self-study under the supervision and support of teachers, providing them with a quiet space to concentrate on their studies. Many students currently living in noisy areas or with limited family space have participated in this model.

Local authorities are getting involved.

Not only keeping it to itself, Thai Thinh Secondary School organized many workshops, both in-person and online, on exam preparation for the 10th grade entrance exam for secondary schools in the former Soc Son district. These schools proactively established partnerships, sharing their systems of mock exam question banks, standardized study materials, and specialized workshops for differentiating students with schools in the suburbs.

From the perspective of local management, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tung - Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Hong Ha Ward, said that in the past, the locality has paid great attention to and regularly coordinated with schools in educational work, especially activities to care for the psychology and skills of students.

The department also strengthened its efforts to monitor the situation, support communication work, and coordinate to ensure a safe and stable learning environment so that schools could focus best on the final exam preparation period. This practical support helps schools feel more secure in organizing activities to support students before the important exam.

Ms. Trinh Ngoc Tram, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward (Hanoi), emphasized that in recent years, the pressure to enter 10th grade in high schools in Hanoi has increased significantly. Therefore, the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the ward have always identified education as a key task that needs close attention.

In Cua Nam ward, there are two junior high schools with a tradition of excellent teaching and learning, boasting outstanding achievements: Ngo Si Lien Junior High School and Trung Vuong Junior High School. The People's Committee of the ward, along with the Department of Culture and Social Affairs, has been implementing many comprehensive solutions to maintain and improve the quality of education in general, as well as the results of the entrance exam to grade 10 of high school in particular.

First, the ward regularly coordinates closely with schools to monitor the academic performance and psychological well-being of 9th-grade students. Each school has a School Counseling Room with the participation and cooperation of senior experts from the Institute of Educational Psychology, which regularly welcomes students to share their problems in their studies and lives.

“We pay special attention to providing psychological counseling and guidance for students and parents, helping them reduce pressure and confidently enter the important exam. In addition, the ward facilitates schools in organizing review sessions, thematic activities, and counseling on study skills and time management skills for graduating students,” Ms. Trinh Ngoc Tram explained.
