All of this is for the ultimate goal: to ensure that every candidate can enter the examination room in the best possible conditions, confidently conquering this important milestone in their school life.

Be proactive and don't neglect the organizational aspect.

In An Giang province, to proactively prepare for the 2026 high school graduation exam, the Provincial People's Committee organized a meeting of the Provincial Steering Committee, emphasizing the overarching requirement that the entire system must participate synchronously, coordinate closely, prepare thoroughly, and not neglect any organizational aspect.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, affirmed that this is a particularly important exam following the merger of administrative units, with a significant increase in the number of candidates, exam centers, and personnel, along with many new points in the exam regulations.

Therefore, each department, sector, and locality must proactively develop specific plans, conduct comprehensive reviews, and ensure that the exam takes place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. The Department of Education and Training is assigned a core role in reviewing procedures, providing professional training for invigilators and examiners; and at the same time, instilling a sense of responsibility and public service ethics, minimizing subjective errors.

For the exam to run smoothly, the education sector cannot operate in isolation, but requires the joint efforts and coordinated cooperation of many forces. The An Giang Provincial Police Department is tasked with coordinating and ensuring safety from the printing and transportation of exam papers, invigilation, and marking; while also maintaining security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention, combating high-tech fraud, and handling misinformation on the internet.

The health sector has fully prepared personnel, medicines, disease prevention plans, and food safety and hygiene measures at the examination sites. The electricity, telecommunications, and science and technology sectors are responsible for ensuring stable electricity, internet access, and technical infrastructure.

In particular, the Provincial Youth Union's "Supporting Students During Exams" program continues to be a humane support system, assisting candidates with transportation, accommodation, and psychological counseling; especially for students in remote areas and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Local authorities at the commune, ward, and special zone levels are also required to review each specific case, especially students with disabilities and those in difficult areas, to ensure that no candidate has to drop out of the exam due to a lack of transportation or necessary support.

According to the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province, the entire province has 39,993 registered candidates, including 35,233 high school students and 4,760 continuing education students. The province will organize 78 official examination centers and 3 backup centers; approximately 5,400 officials, teachers, and staff are expected to be mobilized to oversee the examination process.

Upon inspection, the examination centers were found to be fully prepared in terms of facilities, electricity, surveillance cameras, fire safety, and the safekeeping of exam papers; minor shortcomings were also requested to be addressed promptly to avoid last-minute risks.

Thoroughly understand the "6 clear points" to ensure the exam runs smoothly.

In Dong Thap province, this year's high school graduation exam is expected to have more than 37,000 registered candidates, including 12th-grade students from regular high schools, continuing education programs, and independent candidates. To accommodate this number of candidates, the province plans to organize 71 examination centers with 1,577 examination rooms located in high schools and junior high schools in the communes and wards.

A highlight of this year's provincial exam organization is the "six clear" principle: clear person, clear task, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, and clear results. This requires close coordination between the Education sector and relevant departments and agencies to ensure that every stage, from printing and copying exam papers to invigilation and marking, runs smoothly.

Mr. Le Quang Tri, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Thap province, said that the department had advised the Provincial People's Committee to direct the organization of the exam well with synchronized coordination among agencies and organizations, especially the Provincial Police, to ensure absolute security and safety.

“The Department has instructed educational institutions where exam centers are located to thoroughly review their facilities, from electrical systems and fire safety to plans for responding to natural disasters and storms. The highest goal is to ensure that no candidate has to miss the exam due to economic or transportation difficulties, while resolutely handling violations of regulations to ensure the transparency and objectivity of the exam,” Mr. Tri shared.

Simultaneously, the Provincial Police tightened security of exam papers and protected examination sites; the Electricity sector ensured a continuous power supply; and the Health sector intensified food safety inspections... To contribute to spreading the spirit of humanity, the "Supporting Students During Exams" program in 2026 was widely implemented by the Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union.

A notable feature is that 100% of the examination centers established "Emergency Support Volunteer Teams" to respond to accidents or weather-related incidents. Volunteers not only provided drinking water and study materials, but also operated a hotline and fanpage to answer questions, offer psychological counseling, and support candidates with special circumstances. This support extended before, during, and after the exam with activities such as college counseling and scholarship awards, helping students confidently approach this important exam.

From the close guidance of the government, the thorough preparation of the Education sector, the support of the police, health, and electricity forces, to the enthusiastic spirit of youth volunteers… all are creating a multi-layered “safety network” for this year's exam season.

Working together for a safe and successful exam period is not just a call to action, but is being demonstrated through practical actions, enabling each student to confidently enter the examination room, maximize their potential, and firmly reach for the future.

To ensure the success of the exam, Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province, requested the Department of Education and Training to take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure security, safety, and absolute prevention of cheating; at the same time, strengthen the review process and thoroughly disseminate exam regulations to students. The People's Committees of communes and wards need to pay special attention to ensuring security, traffic safety, and food safety at the examination sites.
