(Dan Tri Newspaper) - March marks the beginning of the kapok flower season, with Hanoi experiencing damp, drizzling rain. The misty sky provides a backdrop for the vibrant red kapok blossoms, a wonderful combination of red and white that creates a hazy, serene atmosphere.
In early March, the kapok trees bloom profusely, creating a uniquely beautiful scene in Hanoi amidst the misty white drizzle and the rustic red hues of the kapok trees in the bustling city streets. At the intersection of Giai Phong and Phuong Mai streets, a kapok tree planted along the railway tracks is in full bloom with vibrant red flowers. At the corner of Trang Tien and Tran Khanh Du streets, the ancient kapok tree in the grounds of the National History Museum, one of the largest trees in Hanoi's inner city, is in full bloom. Its striking red blossoms are visible from afar against the hazy mist.
Clusters of bright red flowers stood out against the sky. In downtown Hanoi, kapok trees are planted individually, towering above the surrounding trees. With its impressive height, the kapok tree always stands out in the streetscape. A glimpse of red peeks out from behind the row of old houses. The two colors combine: red kapok flowers and white crape myrtle flowers.

A kapok tree in Doan Nu village (My Duc district, Hanoi) has lost all its leaves, and its flowers are blooming a brilliant red. The strong contrast in colors brings a striking beauty to the rural outskirts of Hanoi.
