Hanoi approves 533-hectare urban planning project of Soc Son

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan has just signed a decision approving the Soc Son Urban Zoning Plan (Zone 6), scale 1/2000. The planning scope is in the communes: Dong Xuan, Mai Dinh and Phu Lo (Soc Son district, Hanoi).

The Soc Son urban zoning plan for zone 6 has a research area of ​​more than 533 hectares.

The planning project has the East bordering the intersection of the existing National Highway 18 with the new National Highway 18 (planning); the North bordering the direction of the new National Highway 18 (planning) - bordering Sub-zones 2 and 3; the South bordering the existing National Highway 18; the West bordering the inter-regional planning road (from Noi Bai International Airport to Dong Quan Lake) and the airport vicinity.

According to the Soc Son satellite urban master plan to 2030 approved by the Hanoi People's Committee, the orientation of adjusting the Hanoi Capital construction master plan to 2045, with a vision to 2065 is being submitted to competent authorities for appraisal and approval, and the Soc Son sub-zone planning task of zone 6 has been approved, Soc Son urban sub-zone 6 is an urban construction area.

The subdivision includes the main functions: industrial (small and medium industrial clusters); public, mixed-use serving the university urban area and supporting services of Noi Bai International Airport; ecological green park area; urbanized villages.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Soc Son District People's Committee and the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning to be responsible for the accuracy, consistency, and synchronization of data and documents in the drawing files, explanations, and management regulations (including current status assessment and planning options).

The Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture is responsible for the appraisal content; checking and confirming the drawings of the Soc Son urban subdivision planning, zone 6, scale 1/2000 and the management regulations according to the planning project in accordance with the content of this Decision; and archiving the project documents according to regulations.

The Hanoi People's Committee also assigned Soc Son district to preside over and coordinate with the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning and the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture to organize the public announcement of the approved planning project content for relevant organizations, agencies and people to know and implement. At the same time, it is responsible for inspecting, supervising and managing construction in accordance with the planning.
