To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Hanoi People's Committee will organize a special art program "Hanoi - Forever the aspiration of Vietnam" at 8:00 p.m. on August 31 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
The event is an important highlight within the framework of the Socio -Economic Achievements Exhibition and a series of activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.

With the theme “Aspiration for development for a strong, prosperous and happy Vietnam”, the program leads the audience back to the historical moments of the August Revolution and September 2, 1945, while depicting a renewed, dynamic, integrated Hanoi, worthy of the title of the Capital of a thousand years of culture, City for Peace , and Creative City.
The opening ceremony was the flag-raising ceremony, flag-raising ceremony and singing of the national anthem performed by many singers and artists, creating a sacred atmosphere and arousing the spirit of national solidarity.

The highlight was the paragliding performance carrying the national flag in the sky of Hanoi, a symbol of the aspiration for independence, freedom and peace. In addition, the brilliant fireworks combined with music created a sparkling, emotional space.
The program was elaborately staged by director Hoang Cong Cuong and Meritorious Artist Thanh Hien, bringing together many unique art forms: music and dance, stage scenes, 3D mapping technology projection, modern laser effects, multi-layered stage and historical documentary images.
The audience will enjoy revolutionary songs, songs about Hanoi and the Fatherland through performances by People's Artist Thu Huyen, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong; singers Dong Hung, Anh Tu, Lam Bao Ngoc; along with saxophone artist Hoang Tung, violinist Huyen Anh, pianist Trung Duc and a choir of nearly 2,000 people.
