The Hanoi People's Committee has just approved the proposal of the Department of Construction on exempting fares for using subsidized public passenger transport (buses and urban railways) for people and tourists on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The free ticket period will last for 4 days, from August 30 to September 2, 2025, on all 128 subsidized bus routes and two urban railway routes (Cat Linh - Ha Dong and Nhon - Cau Giay). Passengers using buses and urban railways during this period will still be issued tickets at the prescribed face value but will not have to pay. For monthly tickets, priority tickets and free cards, passengers will continue to present them when using the service as usual.
