Hanoi Department of Home Affairs has just issued Document No. 1567/SNV-XDCQ dated March 21, 2025 on temporarily suspending the recruitment of civil servants and public employees.

The document clearly states that, implementing Conclusion No. 128-KL/TW dated March 7, 2025 of the Politburo on the policy of personnel work and Official Dispatch No. 1474-CV/TU dated March 13, 2025 of the Hanoi Party Committee on the implementation of Conclusion No. 128-KL/TW, the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs requests departments, branches, sectors, and public service units under the City People's Committee, People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to seriously implement the direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.

Specifically, temporarily suspend the organization of civil servant recruitment exams until the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels is completed and there is a written directive and guidance allowing the organization to implement (including units whose recruitment plans and targets have been assessed by the Department of Home Affairs but have not yet organized recruitment, except for units that have completed the first round of recruitment exams, which will continue to carry out the next steps).

At the same time, the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs temporarily suspended the assessment and comments on the reception of civil servants and public employees from other places to Hanoi until the completion of the administrative unit arrangement and new instructions from the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.
