Welcoming the Spring of Giap Thin 2024, the People's Committee of Tay Ho District coordinated with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and the Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank) to organize an artistic light show using 2,024 drones called "Hanoi Art Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long" with the theme "A day in the capital - A thousand years of history".
According to information from the implementing unit - Corex Business Solutions Joint Stock Company, the Light Festival will take place at 11:30 p.m. on February 9, 2024 (New Year's Eve) at the Van Cao intersection, West Lake (Tay Ho district, Hanoi).
Audiences will enjoy a light show on Nguyen Dinh Thi – Trich Sai street along West Lake.
Immediately after that, from 0:00 to 0:15 on February 10, 2024 (the early morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year), Tay Ho district will organize a high-altitude fireworks display to welcome the new year.
The rehearsal flight will take place at 9:00 p.m. on February 7, 2024 (the 28th day of Tet), people can arrange to come and watch.

This is a record-breaking drone performance in Southeast Asia, combined with specially composed music , a sound system and live broadcast screens installed around the West Lake area, promising to be a beautiful and brilliant performance for the capital's residents and visitors during the 2024 Lunar New Year.

The Hanoi Department of Transport has just announced a plan to organize traffic flow to serve the Light Festival taking place on the occasion of the Lunar New Year at West Lake.
During the festival, some streets will be closed to traffic.
Accordingly, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on February 5, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on February 7; from 6:00 p.m. on February 9 (the 30th day of the Lunar New Year) to 2:00 a.m. on February 10, 2024, vehicles are prohibited from traveling on Van Cao Street from the Thuy Khue - Van Cao intersection to the Nguyen Dinh Thi - Van Cao - Trich Sai intersection.
On Nguyen Dinh Thi Street, cars are prohibited from the intersection of lane 128 Thuy Khue – Nguyen Dinh Thi to the intersection of Nguyen Dinh Thi – Van Cao – Trich Sai; motorbikes are prohibited from Nguyen Dinh Thi Street from the intersection of lane 152 Thuy Khue – Nguyen Dinh Thi to the intersection of Nguyen Dinh Thi – Van Cao – Trich Sai.
On Trich Sai street, all automobiles are prohibited from circulating on Trich Sai street from the intersection of lane 45 Vong Thi - Trich Sai to the intersection of Trich Sai - Van Cao and from Cong Do to the intersection of Trich Sai - Van Cao; all motorbikes are prohibited from circulating on Trich Sai street from Cong Do to the intersection of Trich Sai - Van Cao.
During this time, adjust for cars going in the direction of Trich Sai - alley 45 Vong Thi - Vong Thi - Lac Long Quan; motorbikes going in the direction of Trich Sai - alley next to Thu Cuc hospital - Thuy Khue.
