Hanoi builds 3 mobile steel bridges to prevent traffic jams

The project to manufacture Bailey bridges as backup, can be deployed and installed on the To Lich, Kim Nguu, Lu, Set, Nhue rivers... to connect traffic on both sides of the river and to promptly handle bridge damage incidents due to natural disasters or weak bridges during operation to promptly reduce traffic congestion, ensure safety and convenient connection when bridge incidents occur, or when there is a need to organize traffic in the city.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to be the investor with an estimated budget of nearly 15 billion VND, to be implemented in two years 2025-2026.

The investor is fully responsible before the law and the City People's Committee for the accuracy and legality of the information and data presented in the project investment proposal report submitted for appraisal and approval.

The Department of Construction shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units to promptly complete the Project dossier and submit it to the competent authority for decision on Project investment in accordance with regulations; inspect, review, update, supplement and receive and complete according to the investment policy appraisal opinions of the city's departments and branches before submitting the Project for approval; use investment capital economically and effectively.

Bailey bridge is a type of movable steel bridge that has been widely used in various fields. The most important features of this bridge are achieving multiple spans, load-bearing capacity, light structure, convenient, easy to disassemble, and can be completed quickly with simple tools and manpower.
