Ha Tinh honors 100 typical patriotic emulation models

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented the Second Class Labor Medal to leaders and former leaders of Ha Tinh province.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the outstanding results and achievements in the Patriotic Emulation Movement of Ha Tinh province in the period of 2020-2025. The efforts, initiatives and outstanding achievements of the outstanding collectives and individuals attending the Congress today are brilliant flowers in the garden of patriotic emulation, with actions and deeds that seem normal and simple but have contributed to weaving more good values and glorious traditions of the heroic homeland of Ha Tinh.

Pleased with the comprehensive achievements that Ha Tinh has achieved in the recent period, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said that despite facing many difficulties and challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic, consecutive natural disasters and floods, and global economic fluctuations, the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Tinh have united, overcome difficulties, and successfully carried out many important political tasks.

The economy recovered and grew steadily; the economic scale increased 1.5 times compared to the beginning of the term; the total budget revenue for the 5 years increased 1.6 times compared to the previous period; industry and energy developed strongly. The cultural and social fields made much progress; social security was ensured. The work of building the Party and the political system was focused on, the organizational apparatus was streamlined, the two-level local government model gradually operated effectively and efficiently. National defense and security were maintained; foreign affairs were expanded, attracting many large projects, making an important contribution to the development of the locality.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said that launching emulation movements must be closely linked to the requirements and tasks of the country and localities, and to new trends of the times so that the movements are substantial, permeate social life and bring about practical results.

Patriotic emulation movements in Ha Tinh have been deployed synchronously, creatively, and in accordance with the characteristics of each locality and field. Many emulation movements are consistent with the people's thoughts and aspirations, so they have penetrated deeply and spread into social life, typically: The movement "The whole province joins hands to build new rural areas" has achieved many outstanding results; the rural appearance has changed significantly, infrastructure has been invested synchronously; people's lives have been increasingly improved; the province has completed 8/8 new rural criteria, with nearly 300 OCOP products recognized.

The movements “ For the poor - No one left behind” and “The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses” were deployed with the spirit of “commands from the heart”, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system, business community and people, helping thousands of poor households in areas that often suffer from natural disasters, storms and floods to have new houses and strive to stabilize their lives.

Emulation movements in the fields of economics, education, health, culture, digital transformation, renewable energy, national defense and security have all achieved many positive results, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in the political system and people, and are highly promoted in difficult times or to celebrate major events of the country and locality.

The commendation work has also had many innovations, becoming more substantial and timely, focusing on commending small groups and individuals directly working and producing at the grassroots level, in remote, mountainous and disadvantaged areas. Emulation clusters and blocks operate more and more systematically and effectively, with many good models and new ways of doing things emerging with profound practical significance. More than 11,600 groups and individuals honored and commended at the central and provincial levels in the past term are vivid evidence of the great results of the patriotic emulation movement in Ha Tinh in the past 5 years.

Faced with the requirements of the new revolutionary stage, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan believes that the Party Committee, army and people of Ha Tinh will continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, promote the fine traditions of the homeland, arouse its own potentials and advantages, especially cultural and human advantages, turning them into great endogenous strength for Ha Tinh to break through, go further in the new era, and strive to successfully implement the targets and tasks set out by the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

Referring to some limitations in the process of implementing emulation movements, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan suggested that Ha Tinh province should continue to strongly innovate emulation and reward work, emulation movements must be closely linked to the requirements and tasks of the country and locality, with new trends of the times so that the movements are substantial, deeply penetrate into social life and bring practical results.
