Ha Tinh opens the Spring Newspaper Festival of Giap Thin 2024

Along with the theme "Celebrating the country's renewal, celebrating the glorious Party, celebrating the Year of the Dragon", the Spring Newspaper Festival of Ha Tinh 2024 also features an exhibition "Aspiration for Development and Investment Opportunities".

On the morning of January 29th, in Ky Anh town, the Ha Tinh Journalists Association, in coordination with the Department of Information and Communications, the Center for Enterprise Development Support and Investment Promotion, and Ky Anh town, organized the opening ceremony of the Spring Press Festival 2024 (Year of the Dragon).

The attendees included Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department Vo Hong Hai, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ha Van Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Van Ky, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc Dang Ngoc Son, and representatives from various departments, agencies, and localities.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, Nguyen Xuan Hai, delivered the opening speech at the Spring Press Festival of the Year of the Dragon 2024.

Vice Chairman of Ky Anh Town People's Committee Nguyen Van Chung provided information on the socio -economic development of the locality and expressed his hope to continue receiving the attention and support of press agencies in promoting the image of Ky Anh town.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau acknowledged and praised the positive contributions of the press to the overall development of the province in the past year; and emphasized: The Spring Newspaper is a product that records a year of creative work by journalists, and the Spring Newspaper Festival is a traditional cultural activity, a festival not only for journalists but also for readers and all strata of the people.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that press agencies and reporters continue to strive for excellence, adhering to their operating principles with a spirit of impartial and truthful reporting; harmoniously combining "construction and combating"; actively participating in disseminating information and explaining to the people so that they understand and support the policies and guidelines of the Party, the State, and the province, and are determined to build a more professional, humane, and modern press in the province.

Furthermore, media outlets and journalists must actively and proactively provide information and guide public opinion, especially on hot, complex, and sensitive issues that attract public attention, contributing to social consensus and ensuring political security and social order in the area.

At the Spring Press Festival, central and local press agencies operating in the province, along with sponsors, presented over 300 gifts worth more than 150 million VND to households with particularly difficult circumstances and poor students who excelled in their studies in Ky Anh town.
