Pep Guardiola's Man City, in their quest to find their place after a disappointing campaign, are fortunate to have a better version of Erling Haaland than ever. The 25-year-old is in superb form - scoring 18 goals in 11 games in all competitions since the start of the season, including 12 for Man City and 6 for Norway.

Haaland just scored the only goal to help Man City take all 3 points at Brentford, a goal that he described as " one of my best goals" .

It was the 9th consecutive match (including for Man City and the Norwegian national team) that Haaland scored - the best achievement in his career to date.

Not only that, Haaland also set a super record in the Premier League, scoring at 22/23 stadiums he played at with Man City. The only stadium this striker has not conquered is Liverpool's Anfield.

He shared: “ I have never felt better than I do now. This is thanks to the preparation and readiness for matches, both physically and mentally. Honestly, being a father makes me feel more comfortable and excited. I disconnect from the outside world and do not think much about football or worry about many things like before. When I come home and am with my son, I forget everything and feel extremely comfortable. I have to thank my son .”

With the great motivation brought by his son, Man City fans believe that Haaland will soon break through Anfield, marking the milestone of scoring at every stadium he visits in the Premier League.

Coach Pep Guardiola is very excited with Haaland's performance, admitting " he is extremely important to Man City ", and believes his favorite student will stay at Etihad for a long time, despite Barca's leadership having ambitions to have the Norwegian striker next year.

“Haaland is performing well and scoring goals. Man City always supports him and gives him many opportunities. No one can predict the future but Haaland has a long-term contract at Etihad (until June 2034).

Which team doesn’t dream of having Haaland? If Haaland wasn’t at Man City, we would still want him. Barca would want him, like every other club in the world .

But I don’t think Haaland would be stupid enough to sign a contract he isn’t fully committed to. But football is full of surprises and you never know .”
