Bringing together famous artists and conveying strong patriotic messages, the two programs demonstrate the role of state agencies and local authorities in creating professional art spaces, contributing to promoting the development of the cultural industry.

Echoing national pride
In recent days, information about two large-scale art programs aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd has caused a stir in the community. Everyone wants to have a ticket to live in the wonderful atmosphere of music , art and pride.
“National Concert - Fatherland in the Heart” organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with Hanoi People's Committee will take place on the evening of August 10 at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi). The program carries a profound message about patriotism, the desire for independence, freedom and happiness.
According to General Director Dang Le Minh Tri, the program will recreate heroic milestones in the nation's history through the image of the red flag with a yellow star. The artistic performances are elaborately staged, rich in emotion, combining traditional and modern elements, bringing the audience closer to the sacred values of the Fatherland. The highlight is the large-scale flag-raising ceremony, when tens of thousands of people sing the National Anthem in unison in a solemn atmosphere, expressing the spirit of national solidarity and deep pride.
In addition, the program also left an impression with the performance of 68 soldiers from the Army Officer School 1, who represented the Vietnam People's Army in the parade at Red Square (Moscow, Russia) and an 8-minute fireworks display, closing the art night.
“Fatherland in the Heart” is even more attractive when it gathers a team of leading artists from many generations such as People's Artist Thu Huyen, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, singers Pham Thu Ha, Tung Duong, Ha Le, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Toc Tien, Thanh Duy, Suboi, Dong Hung, Oplus Band... along with typical sports faces such as Quang Hai, Anh Vien, Le Van Cong...
Previously, on the evening of August 9, “V Concert - Radiant Vietnam” organized by Vietnam Television (VTV) will take place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Truong Sa Street, Hanoi). With large investments in technology, sound, lighting, and leading music stars such as Ha Anh Tuan, Den, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Ho Ngoc Ha, Truc Nhan, Hoang Thuy Linh, Hoa Minzy, Toc Tien, Phuong My Chi, Rhyder, Quang Hung MasterD…, the program aims to honor Vietnamese culture and spread creative inspiration in the community.
In particular, the music director of “V Concert” is the famous music group DTAP, famous for their ability to smoothly combine traditional and modern music, creating hits for big artists such as Hoang Thuy Linh, Lona..., or most recently Phuong My Chi in Sing! ASIA. This promises to bring more than 20,000 audiences moments of artistic sublimation.
Boosting the cultural industry
Popular music, with its wide influence and ability to create a large community effect, is becoming one of the important pillars in the national cultural industry development strategy. Over the years, most large-scale music programs have been actively organized by private enterprises or artists, with the aim of targeting young audiences and maximizing commercial factors.
However, the two special art programs “National Concert - Fatherland in the Heart” and “V Concert - Radiant Vietnam” opened a new direction: The proactive, responsible and effective participation of state agencies and local authorities in organizing and leading large-scale cultural and artistic events.
The remarkable common point of both concerts is that they are both deeply political, promoting patriotism, honoring the cultural and historical values of the nation, but still creating great appeal to the public, especially the young. This shows that political art, if invested in properly, staged elaborately and communicated effectively, can completely combine artistic, ideological and economic elements. If the “National Concert” gives out free tickets to attract a large number of people, then “V Concert” proactively sells tickets to “measure” the market and is immediately sought after by the audience.
According to journalist Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, “National Concert - Fatherland in the Heart” is not only an art program, but also a “symphony of patriotism”, where the public can live in the feeling of national pride, connecting heroic memories with the dynamic present and aspirations for the future. The program also affirms the pioneering role of press agencies in creating a profound cultural and spiritual space, contributing to spreading good values in society.
From the perspective of the host of the “V Concert” program, Meritorious Artist Do Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, shared that organizing large-scale art programs such as “V Concert” is VTV’s strategic direction to participate more actively in the chain of creativity and development of the cultural industry.
Two major art events are contributing to positively inspiring other agencies, units and localities, opening up the possibility of organizing national-scale art programs, thereby contributing to creating a vibrant cultural ecosystem, creating a strong driving force for Vietnam's cultural industry.
