Two key transportation projects are preparing to begin construction.

The Regional and Agricultural Sector Project Management Board announced that the project to upgrade and expand the Hoi Bai-Phuoc Tan road (Phu My City) is being urgently prepared to commence construction in time for the National Day holiday on September 2nd, 2025. The road, approximately 8.46 km long, has a total investment of nearly 3,700 billion VND. Currently, the local authorities are focusing on land clearance, while the investor is preparing the contractor selection documents in accordance with regulations.

In addition, the main arterial road project in Vung Tau City, one of the key infrastructure projects in the coastal city, is also entering the preparatory phase for construction. The road will be 2.87 km long, with a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND. The project is managed by the Provincial Project Management Board for Transportation and Civil Engineering. Currently, the People's Committee of Vung Tau City is urgently implementing compensation and land clearance work, with construction expected to begin in August 2025.

Both projects are of significant importance in connecting transportation infrastructure, reducing congestion, and promoting urban and industrial development in key areas of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
