Five Star Group starts construction of two international standard 5-star hotel apartment complexes in Vung Tau

On the morning of June 21, Five Star International Group solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony for two international standard 5-star hotel apartment complexes: Five Star Odyssey and Five Star Poseidon in Vung Tau City. Both of these projects are architectural symbols for Thuy Van - Bai Sau road, contributing to shaping the appearance of the modern coastal city of Vung Tau in the new era.

The ceremony was attended by delegates: Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Public Security ; Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Tran Van Muoi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Five Star Group.

With a total estimated investment of over VND10,000 billion, Five Star Odyssey (50 floors) and Five Star Poseidon (43 floors) are the two tallest projects in Vung Tau today, designed according to international standards. Both projects were honored to receive the award for the most beautiful Luxury Apartment - Hotel Architecture in Asia Pacific 2025 presented by the International Property Awards.

The two projects have also been granted construction permits by the Department of Construction and the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Specifically, the Five Star Odyssey project is built on an area of ​​8,189m2 with 50 floors above ground, 4 basements, including a 5-star hotel system, a resort hotel with nearly 1,000 rooms and over 2,000 luxury apartments, along with entertainment facilities, casinos, international convention and exhibition centers... The Five Star Poseidon twin towers are built on an area of ​​8,730m2 with 3 basements, 43 floors above ground, including over 300 international standard 5-star hotel rooms and over 1,000 luxury apartments.

It is expected that after 30-36 months of construction, the two projects will be completed and put into operation, managed and operated by famous international 5-star brand corporations.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, commented: "The groundbreaking ceremony of the Fivestar Odyssey & Five Star Poseidon Project marks a step forward in the construction of an international-scale, 5-star complex entertainment and tourism area in the locality, gradually contributing to concretizing the assigned tasks in Resolution No. 24 of the Politburo on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Southeast region to 2030, with a vision to 2045 and Decision No. 1629 of the Prime Minister approving the Planning of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050."

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Five Star Group to urgently focus resources on implementing and constructing the project in accordance with regulations; ensuring quality, labor safety, environmental protection, urban aesthetics; completing construction ahead of schedule, quickly putting the project into operation; creating more new, quality products to serve the people and tourists. Thereby contributing to promoting the development of local tourism and services as well as making an important contribution to the development of the national tourism industry.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the provincial leaders are always committed to accompanying investors, creating the most favorable conditions in all aspects, especially in supporting, removing difficulties and speeding up the settlement of related administrative procedures so that the project can be implemented as planned.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, believes that when completed and put into operation, these two 5-star hotel apartment complexes will be ideal destinations for resort tourism, health care, MICE... with many high-class service facilities; becoming a new, luxurious symbol of Vung Tau City in the future.

On this occasion, Five Star Group also participated in the socialization of infrastructure by starting the construction of two pedestrian tunnels No. 1 and No. 4 (at No. 57-59 Thuy Van and No. 165 Thuy Van) to create synchronous traffic infrastructure, strongly connect the coastal area, expand development space and contribute to ensuring safety for people and tourists when traveling to the central beach of Thuy Van Square.
