Organize overnight training to practice vehicle maneuvering to perform A80 missions

On the evening of August 5, at Ba Dinh Square, the A80 Parade Subcommittee of the Ministry of National Defense organized a practical training session on vehicle maneuvers to perform A80 missions.

Major General Phung Ngoc Son, Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff of the General Department of Logistics and Technology, Deputy Head of Subcommittee A80 of the Ministry of National Defense, directed the training; also attending was Major General Nguyen Que Lam, Director of the Department of Motorcycles and Transport.

Training subjects include officers, driver teams; military and police vehicles; technical support vehicles. Training content includes: training in logistics and technical support; unifying command, operation, coordination, and ensuring force mobility.

According to the plan, the military artillery forces will move from their stationed positions to the F1 Racetrack, the Command Center and move along the parade route; then move back to their stationed positions. The artillery forces will complete their formation, complete preparations at the National Military Training Center 4 and begin moving at 20:30. At 0:30 on August 6, 2025, the mobile units will pass through Ba Dinh Square.

The mobile force is organized into formations, including: Block 1 is tracked vehicles, armored vehicles, and artillery; Block 2 is wheeled artillery; Block 3 is special police vehicles. Mobilizing in a single-file formation.

Training is expected to predict situations such as: Vehicles encountering technical problems on the road; traffic jams; and traffic insecurity during the maneuver, from which plans are made to handle the above situations.

Practical training aims to help officers and drivers have a firm grasp of the mobile routes; unify command and operation work to ensure technical assurance of vehicles and armored vehicles from the stationing position to the deployment position for comprehensive training, preliminary review, general rehearsal, and official duty on A80 at Ba Dinh Square; and simultaneously check the entire traffic system on the route (width, height, load capacity, etc.)

At about 4:00 a.m. on August 6, the mobile vehicles arrived at National Military Training Center 4. The training practice ensured safety in all aspects.
