During the morning session on December 11th, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Vice Chairpersons Nguyen Duc Hai, Tran Quang Phuong, Nguyen Thi Thanh, Vu Hong Thanh, and Le Minh Hoan, the National Assembly will vote on 20 important items covering many areas of socio -economic development, law, planning, health, energy, finance, and social security.
Accordingly, National Assembly delegates will vote to approve the following laws and resolutions: the Law on Investment (amended); the Resolution on piloting special mechanisms and policies for implementing large and important projects in the Capital; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Urban and Rural Planning; the Resolution on the investment policy for Gia Binh International Airport; the Resolution on the investment policy for the Vinh-Thanh Thuy expressway; the Resolution on removing difficulties in the implementation of the Land Law; the Resolution approving the investment policy for the National Target Program on New Rural Development, Sustainable Poverty Reduction and Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the period 2026-2035; the National Assembly Resolution on some breakthrough mechanisms and policies for the protection, care and improvement of people's health; and the Resolution on the investment policy for the National Target Program on Health Care, Population and Development for the period 2026-2035. Resolutions on mechanisms and policies for national energy development in the period 2026-2030; the Law on Digital Transformation; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of 15 laws in the fields of agriculture and environment; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Value Added Tax Law; the Law on Specialized Courts in International Financial Centers; and the Bankruptcy Law (amended).
Also in the morning session, the National Assembly will pass: a Resolution on the implementation of several resolutions of the National Assembly in the 14th and 15th terms on specialized supervision and questioning (presented by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly); the Law on National Reserves (amended); a Resolution amending and supplementing several articles of Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 on the special mechanism for the development of Ho Chi Minh City; and a Resolution amending and supplementing several articles of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 on the organization of urban government and the special mechanism for the development of Da Nang City.
In the afternoon, starting at 2 PM, the National Assembly will hold its closing session (broadcast live on television and radio). At this closing session, the National Assembly will vote on and approve the Resolution summarizing the work of the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the State Audit Office during the 2021-2026 term; and the Resolution of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
At the end of the closing session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man will deliver the closing speech.
Immediately after the closing remarks, the National Assembly held a flag-raising ceremony, officially concluding the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
