Over 100 technologies and devices will be showcased at Techmart 2025.

On December 11th, the Center for Information, Statistics and Application of Advanced Science and Technology (CISAST), under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, held the opening ceremony of the "Techmart specializing in digital transformation for smart city development in 2025".

Techmart 2025 took place over two days, December 11-12, attracting more than 100 technologies and equipment from 50 institutes, universities, and businesses both domestically and internationally. The exhibition area was organized into four main content groups, closely linked to the practical needs of Ho Chi Minh City.

Specifically, the exhibition area showcases urban management technology, featuring solutions that utilize big data and artificial intelligence to support operation and monitoring, contributing to building greener, smarter, and more sustainable cities.

The medical technology exhibition area showcases how smart data technologies help improve the quality of medical examinations and treatments, shorten processing times, and enhance healthcare services for the public.

The educational technology exhibition area showcases solutions that help innovate management, teaching, and learning methods on a digital platform, thereby developing high-quality human resources for Ho Chi Minh City.

The tourism exhibition area, with its smart tourism technologies, helps enhance the visitor experience, improve service quality, and effectively promote the city's image.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Huu Yen, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, said that the Techmart specializing in digital transformation for smart city development in 2025 was organized to create a space for connection, sharing, cooperation, and connecting supply and demand, bringing technology from universities, research institutions, and businesses to units that need to apply it.

The event is expected to be a "highlight" with a real impact, helping to transform ideas into solutions, a place to share experiences, build partnerships, and contribute to the overall digital transformation strategy, helping Ho Chi Minh City move faster on its journey to building a smart city - a city that operates on data, is intelligently connected, and is people-centered.

“The specialized Techmart on digital transformation for smart urban development will be an important step forward, promoting linkages, cooperation, and technology transfer; playing a bridging role between scientific research and practical needs, and making a practical contribution to the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation,” Mr. Nguyen Huu Yen emphasized.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology officially launched the expanded version of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Information Portal (Techport.vn), serving as an online technology exchange platform and a central hub connecting technology supply and demand in Ho Chi Minh City and other localities.

Techmart 2025 also organized 14 technology demonstration workshops and a free expert consultation area with eight experts from institutes and universities to support businesses and organizations in selecting and implementing effective digital transformation solutions.
