
The event took place from December 11th to 12th at the Technology Exchange Center (79 Truong Dinh Street, Ben Thanh Ward). This annual event served as a technological bridge connecting research institutions, universities, businesses, management agencies, and the public, aiming to promote the commercialization of research and the incubation of technology products.
Techmart 2025 features over 100 technologies and devices from 50 research institutes, universities, and businesses both domestically and internationally, showcasing numerous solutions applying artificial intelligence (AI), big data, IoT, etc., to contribute to building smart cities.

Technologies and equipment in four key areas (urban management, healthcare, education , and tourism) are ready for transfer, including: AI-powered urban security monitoring systems; GIS solutions - digital mapping; electronic medical records - personal health records; AI for medical image analysis; smart classrooms; digital maps, GIS - 3D data…
Alongside the exhibition, a team of experts from institutes and universities in Ho Chi Minh City will provide consulting and support to organizations and businesses that need to implement digital transformation activities. In addition, through 14 specialized seminars, organizations will be updated on new technology trends and assess the practical application of technology products.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Yen, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, said that Techmart 2025 aims to create a space for sharing, cooperation, and connecting technology supply and demand from research institutes, universities, and businesses to units with application needs. He expects the event to be a highlight that will transform ideas into solutions, helping Ho Chi Minh City move faster on its journey to building a smart city, operating on data and with citizens at its center.

As the leading economic , financial, and science and technology center of the country, Ho Chi Minh City is continuing to assert its position, accelerating the digital transformation process, modernizing urban governance, and improving the quality of life for its citizens. Techmart 2025 is expected to address practical challenges based on technology, aiming towards a comprehensive and sustainable smart city ecosystem.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology launched the expanded version of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Information Portal (Techport.vn). Accordingly, the databases of Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau have been synchronized and integrated into the Techport system, creating a large-scale dataset, enhancing the effectiveness of services for businesses, and supporting localities in developing the science and technology market.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, for many years, Techport, acting as an online technology exchange platform, has served as a hub connecting the supply and demand of technology in the city and other localities. On this system, businesses, research institutes, management agencies, and citizens can easily search for, request consultations on, and implement digital transformation solutions or technology transfer and cooperation.
