Consumer price index in July increased by 0.2%

According to Dong Nai Province Statistics, the consumer price index (CPI) in the province in July increased by 0.2% compared to the previous month.

In the past month, the prices of many construction materials and home maintenance items increased, the prices of essential consumer goods and services increased along with input material prices and transportation costs... which were the main reasons for the increase in the consumer price index.

Of the 11 main groups of consumer goods and services, 9 groups had an increasing price index, 1 group had a decreasing price index, and 1 group had a stable price index. The groups of goods and services with a relatively high price index increase include: household equipment and appliances; beverages and tobacco; culture, entertainment and tourism ; housing and construction materials; food and catering services; other goods and services... In the first 7 months of 2025, the CPI in the province increased by an average of 3.52% over the same period last year.
