VPBank deploys AWS Skill Builder platform to promote digital transformation

Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) has just announced an internal cloud computing training program integrating Amazon Web Services (AWS)'s AWS Skill Builder online learning platform to promote a culture of continuous learning on a large scale.

This is considered one of the largest AWS Skill Builder deployments in Vietnam to date. This learning platform provides job-role-based training courses and personalized learning paths, helping VPBank 's staff quickly improve their cloud computing skills, thereby serving the goal of expanding training scale, applying digital technology to banking services, and spreading the spirit of innovation throughout the bank.

VPBank's digital transformation strategy aims to turn the bank into a multi-functional financial group, using technology as its foundation. Investing in developing and improving the skills of its human resources is one of the important pillars to realize this strategy.

Through AWS Skill Builder, VPBank creates conditions for employees to learn cloud computing skills with more than 600 courses and 25 training paths in key technology areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), generative AI (GenAI), security, databases, data storage, etc. The courses are flexibly designed to meet many different levels, from basic to advanced.
