UNESCO's official recognition of Ho Chi Minh City as a member of the Global Learning Cities Network and the Global Creative Cities Network in the field of cinema is a milestone of profound significance, not only acknowledging the city's efforts but also opening up important opportunities for international cooperation in the future.
Regarding bilateral cooperation, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong expressed his desire to continue receiving support and collaboration from UNESCO in strengthening cooperation on the Can Gio Biosphere Reserve, mangrove ecosystem conservation, scientific research, and capacity building in management.
Looking forward to successfully organizing the ASEAN+4 Global Learning Cities Conference in November, Ho Chi Minh City hopes to continue receiving the cooperation and support of UNESCO in the preparation process and in connecting with international experts and experiences.
