Construction is ongoing 24/7 to ensure the progress of the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

On the afternoon of August 7, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Head of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, inspected the progress of the implementation of the Exhibition's tasks.

Reporting at the inspection, a representative of Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company said that as of August 7, 39 units had been constructed (an increase of 11 units compared to August 6). It is expected that construction will increase by 14 units on August 8. The company has also contacted each contact point of the units, many units with a construction area of about 700 m2 are making efforts to carry out related work on the outside, and will carry out installation on the inside in 1-2 days.

At the main hall and the Central Hall of the Exhibition, many units have completed the Concept Design, Detailed Design, received the site and are urgently constructing. All units are making efforts to organize the construction simultaneously, meeting the set schedule.

At the inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged the efforts of ministries, branches and localities in implementing the construction; there have been many changes compared to the previous inspection (August 5).

However, to meet the work progress, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the units to speed up the construction organization 24/7. During the construction process, if there are any difficulties or problems, it is necessary to coordinate with the functional units of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the consulting unit, and the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company on site to resolve and create the best conditions for the construction units.

The Deputy Prime Minister also commended ministries, branches and localities for actively receiving land and urgently carrying out construction, and at the same time requested units to urge ministries, branches and localities whose implementation progress is slower than the general progress.
