[Photo] Nghe An: Provincial Road 543D suffered serious landslides due to floods and rains

From July 21-22, due to the impact of storm No. 3 and its aftermath, Muong Tip commune (Nghe An province) experienced prolonged heavy rains and widespread flash floods. The natural disaster caused severe damage to many traffic routes in the area.

By the afternoon of July 27th, while recovery efforts in Muong Tip commune were being urgently implemented, another flash flood occurred, sweeping away most of the previous restoration efforts. Landslides and road disruptions recurred on a large scale.

Currently, the road to Muong Tip commune via Muong Xen-Ta Do-Khe Kien still has 13 major landslides on both the embankment and slope, as well as road breaks, making it difficult and dangerous for people and vehicles to travel.

On July 30, the road to Ta Do village was cleared; on August 3, vehicles could move into the village.
