Bac Ninh: Forest fire risk warning at level IV (dangerous level) issued for all forested areas.

BAC NINH - According to the Bac Ninh Provincial Forest Protection Department, the predicted risk of forest fires in communes and wards with forests in the province is at level IV (dangerous level).

Based on the weather forecast from the Bac Ninh Meteorological and Hydrological Station and actual monitoring results, the weather throughout the province in recent days has been rainless, with low air humidity and low humidity of combustible materials. This creates conditions that easily lead to and spread forest fires, especially in areas with dense undergrowth and planted pine, acacia, and eucalyptus forests.

Authorities in Bac Ninh province conducted a forest fire fighting drill.

As of December 10th, all communes and wards with forests in Bac Ninh province are under a high-risk fire warning.

These include locations in mountainous and hilly areas and protected forest regions such as: Tuan Dao, Dai Son, Son Dong, Tay Yen Tu, Duong Huu, Yen Dinh, An Lac, Van Son, Bien Dong, Luc Ngan, Deo Gia, Son Hai, Tan Son, Bien Son, Sa Ly, Chu, Phuong Son, Nam Duong, Kien Lao, Luc Son, Truong Son, Cam Ly, Dong Phu, Nghia Phuong, Luc Nam, Bac Lung, Bao Dai, Yen The, Bo Ha…

Given the above situation, the Provincial Forest Protection Department requests that the chairpersons of the People's Committees at the commune level and the commune-level forest fire prevention and control committees directly supervise forest fire prevention and control work in their localities.

Forest owners and forest rangers regularly conduct rigorous inspections of key fire-prone areas; deploy patrol forces and maintain a constant fire prevention presence as required, especially during peak hours from 11 am to 7 pm. They ensure that personnel, equipment, and firefighting tools are readily available; promptly detect fires, raise the alarm, and extinguish them immediately upon 발생.

Local authorities regularly disseminate information on forest fire forecasts and warnings through mass media. In the event of a forest fire, maximum resources and personnel must be mobilized to extinguish it promptly; investigations must be conducted to determine the cause, identify the perpetrators, and strictly punish them according to the law.
