Quang Tri photography continues to strive for success.

QTO - On the afternoon of December 10th, the Quang Tri Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) held a conference to summarize its activities in 2025 and plan for 2026; and also admitted new members to the VAPA. Representatives from the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts (VHNT) attended the event.

The Quang Tri Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (newly established) has a merger decision effective from October 2025. In 2025, the branch will have 3 photographers who received commendations from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists for their achievements in photographic creation. Members of the branch have achieved high rankings in domestic and international competitions.

Notably, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists recently awarded the title of EVAPA-Outstanding Photographer to photographer Le Duc Thanh along with three other exemplary photographers nationwide. This title is a testament to Le Duc Thanh's persistent creative journey and his efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges. In 2025, he excelled, winning a gold medal at the 31st North Central Vietnam Art Photography Festival; having two works honored at the exhibition "Homeland - 80 Autumns of Independence"; and winning a silver medal and an honorable mention at the 50th Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Art Photography Festival…

On this occasion, the branch organized a ceremony to admit new members to the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and awarded the AVAPA title to artist Pham Van Thuc. After many years of dedicated creative work, innovative thinking, and numerous valuable works that have been recognized, artist Pham Van Thuc has achieved well-deserved success, becoming a member of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

Speaking at the conference, the representative of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts highly appreciated the achievements of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists' branch in the province in the past and expressed hope that in the future, the branch will achieve even more success, contributing to spreading the image of Quang Tri's homeland and people to friends at home and abroad.
