On December 9th and 10th, at the Dong Da Ward Cultural, Information and Sports Center (22 Dang Tien Dong Street), the Dong Da Ward Party Committee organized a political activity program through the film "Red Rain," aiming to educate on revolutionary traditions and foster patriotism and national pride among cadres and Party members in the area.

The film "Red Rain" by the People's Army Film Studio recreates the 81-day and 81-night defense of Quang Tri Citadel in 1972. The film portrays the courage, unwavering will, and indomitable spirit of the soldiers on the front lines, reminding us of the silent sacrifices made to achieve the peace we enjoy today.

The film screening attracted the participation of leaders from the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front , various organizations, and a large number of local people.

According to the ward's leadership, this activity aims to celebrate major national and military holidays in December, and at the same time, create a widespread political campaign throughout the Party committee, government, and people in the area.

After watching the film, many delegates expressed their emotion at the tragic images in the film, and acknowledged that this was a practical activity with a strong effect in fostering revolutionary ideals, arousing patriotism and national pride.

Watching the film "Red Rain" for the second time, Deputy Secretary of Party Branch 25 Nguyen Le Yen still expressed deep emotion: "The first time I watched it was at the National Film Center, and even watching it again, my emotions remain intact and I am very moved. During those years, I participated in the militia in Hanoi, not directly joining the army. Many people of my generation sacrificed their lives and remained on the battlefield."

The comrade also highly appreciated the educational event organized by the Ward Party Committee, emphasizing that it was a "very proper" undertaking and contributed to fostering patriotism among the people.

Meanwhile, Le Thi Thu, Secretary of Party Branch 44 and Head of Neighborhood Group 52, expressed her deep emotion after watching the film for the first time. She assessed it as a very meaningful and moving activity: “I feel extremely moved and proud. The soldiers in the war to defend the Fatherland endured so much hardship and sacrificed their youth to protect their homeland. We live in peace today thanks to their contributions. This is the most meaningful way to educate the younger generation about history. We need more activities like this so that young people know about the struggles and sacrifices of their ancestors.”

Organizing the screening of the film "Red Rain" is a form of political activity with profound value, contributing to the education of revolutionary traditions, strengthening the political resolve and sense of responsibility of cadres, Party members and people in the ward.
