As the northeast monsoon winds arrive, Hanoi takes on a vibrant festive atmosphere, especially at its ancient churches. During these days, famous religious architectural landmarks such as the Grand Cathedral, Ham Long Church, and Cua Bac Church are beautifully decorated, attracting locals and tourists to visit and take photos.
Cathedral: A familiar check-in spot.
Having completed its decorations early, the Grand Cathedral on Church Street has become the focal point of the capital's Christmas atmosphere. Prominent in the grounds is a Christmas tree dozens of meters tall and an elaborately constructed, brightly colored nativity scene. This is not only an ancient religious building but also a familiar meeting place for domestic and international tourists every holiday season.

Daniel, a tourist from Malaysia, shared happily while taking photos with his friends: "I can feel the joyful atmosphere of Hanoi before Christmas, from the shops to the entertainment venues. I'm truly impressed."
Ham Long Church: Dazzling with lights
At Ham Long Church, preparations were also underway with great urgency. On the afternoon of December 9th, workers were still busy installing decorative lights in front of the gate. Mr. Vinh, the person in charge of the work, said that the decorating process had started a month ago and was expected to be completed in the next few days.

Every evening, the church lights up, creating a shimmering, magical atmosphere. Not only the church grounds, but also many trees along the street are adorned with sparkling lights, contributing to a characteristic festive setting.

Cua Bac Church: A serene beauty awaiting its day of glory.
Located in Ba Dinh district, Cua Bac Church is also in the final stages of preparation. The nativity scene decorations are basically complete, and only the lighting system needs to be installed. For many years, this has always been one of the most anticipated destinations for Hanoi residents every Christmas, possessing a unique, serene, and cozy beauty.
