At the review session of the Draft Resolution on the temporary allocation of civil servant positions for 2026, the Legal Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council agreed with the entire content of Report No. 8372/TTr-UBND dated December 2, 2025, from the Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, the province plans not to reduce the number of commune-level civil servants in 2026 in order to ensure sufficient human resources for the operation of the grassroots administrative apparatus.
Specifically, the province has temporarily allocated 3,585 civil servant positions at the provincial level, reducing 158 positions according to the downsizing roadmap for the 2022-2026 period assigned by the Central Organization Committee. For the commune level, the province has also temporarily allocated positions. 6,233 positions, remaining the same as in 2025 as guided by the Ministry of Interior .
The Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council proposes that the Provincial People's Council consider and approve a Resolution on the temporary allocation of civil servant positions for 2026 in state administrative agencies and organizations of the province.
Furthermore, the Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to continue reviewing and consolidating the administrative apparatus at all levels; allocate personnel rationally, and use assigned resources effectively. The Provincial People's Committee directed departments, agencies, and localities to finalize the job position plan after mergers, and to develop a roadmap for downsizing personnel in conjunction with the structure of the staff and civil servants in a scientific , modern manner, consistent with the administrative reform and digital transformation process.
