Lam Dong province promotes trade cooperation with Türkiye in accordance with Halal standards.

From November 26th to 29th, a delegation from Lam Dong province, led by Mr. Dinh Van Tuan, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited Turkey and participated in the 11th Global Halal Summit and Halal Exhibition 2025.

The 11th Global Halal Summit and Halal Exhibition 2025 is an event aimed at seeking and connecting partners for cooperation in the exploitation, processing, supply of raw materials, and trading of Halal products; and promoting and showcasing the advantages and potential for developing Halal tourism , services, and industries.

This is also an opportunity to introduce the investment and business environment and some investment projects of Lam Dong province to seek partners, investment cooperation opportunities, production and business connections; promote investment and technology transfer in agricultural production and seafood processing.

The event provides an opportunity to seek export partners for agricultural products, tea, coffee, silk, and key seafood items; and to survey the conditions and feasibility of organizing the 2026 Lam Dong province trade fair in Turkey…

Comrade Dinh Van Tuan, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at working sessions during his visit to Türkiye and participation in the 11th Global Halal Summit and Halal Exhibition 2025.

Currently, Lam Dong province has approximately 40 businesses and establishments operating in sectors with Halal products, processes, or certifications, mainly belonging to the groups processing agricultural products, coffee, tea, fruits and vegetables, macadamia nuts, medicinal herbs, and seafood.

The majority of businesses have implemented ISO and HACCP quality management systems, meeting food safety standards, which is a favorable condition for expanding international Halal certification.

The Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee delegation worked with partners within the framework of their visit and participation in Türkiye, attending the 11th Global Halal Summit and Halal Exhibition 2025.

As part of their working visit, on November 28th, the delegation visited and held meetings with the Konya Provincial Government, the Konya Chamber of Commerce, and the Konya Chamber of Industry.

During their visits and working sessions, the Lam Dong provincial delegation provided information on the socio-economic development of the province after the merger of Dak Nong, Binh Thuan, and Lam Dong provinces, making it the province with the largest natural area in the country (24,233.07 ^km² ). The delegation also introduced the potential, strengths, and investment attraction areas of the newly merged Lam Dong province.

During a meeting with the leaders of the Vietnamese Embassy in Türkiye on November 29th, the delegation provided information on the Vietnamese Party and State's policy on reorganizing the political system.

Over the past period, Lam Dong province has strived to overcome difficulties and achieved many comprehensive accomplishments. In particular, foreign affairs work has been implemented proactively, flexibly, and synchronously, closely adhering to the policies of the Party and State and the development orientation of the locality, contributing to promoting international cooperation, attracting investment, promoting the image, and developing socio-economic development.

The delegation requested the Embassy's leadership to pay attention to and support Lam Dong province in promoting trade cooperation between the two sides, especially the export of key agricultural products of Lam Dong province (vegetables, fruits, Da Lat flowers, coffee, dried fruits, etc.) that meet Halal standards for consumption in the Turkish market.

At the same time, coordinate the provision of information on markets, consumer preferences, regulations on standards, quality, and other regulations related to import-export cooperation, investment, and business between the two countries to support businesses in strengthening business cooperation, especially information on Halal.

The Lam Dong Provincial Delegation, led by Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan, successfully concluded its visit and working trip to Türkiye and its participation in the 11th Global Halal Summit and Halal Exhibition 2025.

Each year, we will jointly organize and participate in seminars, trade fairs, festivals, and events to promote investment, trade, and tourism in each other's provinces; and at the same time, develop programs to connect tours and routes from Lam Dong province to Türkiye and vice versa.

The delegation also hoped that the Embassy's leadership would support the province in connecting and promoting investment with partners and businesses; introduce potential Turkish investors with experience and modern technology to explore investment and business opportunities in Lam Dong; create favorable conditions to support provincial industry associations and businesses in market research, trade connections, and participation in product distribution systems when participating in programs organized in Turkey; and support the display, introduction, and provision of information from Lam Dong provincial businesses to partners in the Turkish market.

On this occasion, the delegation invited leaders of the Embassy, ​​commercial attachés, businesses, and investors from Türkiye to explore investment opportunities, trade cooperation, and tourism in Lam Dong province; cooperation with Turkish localities that have strengths in port infrastructure and logistics will help reduce transportation costs, increase preservation capabilities, and expand the supply chain of agricultural exports; and to promote the brand of Da Lat - a miraculous essence from fertile land - in international Halal events...
