Promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in developing a market economy

Commenting on the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in developing a market economy and international integration, Dr. Nguyen Van Pha, member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, affirmed: In theory, the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is determined on the basis of the doctrine of socialist democracy, people's mastery and the principle of state power belonging to the people. In the context of building a rule-of-law state, the Vietnam Fatherland Front is not only an organization mobilizing the masses, but also an active participant in controlling state power through social supervision and criticism.

In recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has demonstrated its role in promoting a transparent investment and business environment; promoting the role of an intermediary channel between the State and the business community and cooperatives, promptly reflecting the recommendations of businesses, cooperatives and business households to authorities at all levels; ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of people and businesses in conciliation, participating in resolving complaints and denunciations - a mechanism to protect rights from the grassroots level, supervising the implementation of support policies for small and medium enterprises, innovative start-ups, cooperatives, household economy...

To continue to perform this role well, according to Dr. Nguyen Van Pha, in the coming time, it is necessary to fully institutionalize the role of criticism and supervision of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; improve the quality of participation in law-making of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; strengthen supervision of law enforcement; promote supervision of administrative procedure reform; participate in building a service-oriented administration; apply digital transformation in supervision and reflection activities. At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front needs to continue to strengthen its companionship with businesses and people; supervise the implementation of socio-economic policies; promote its role in developing the private economy and cooperative economy; participate in criticizing policies related to international integration; propagate and mobilize people to implement international commitments; expand people-to-people diplomacy...

Promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in perfecting institutions, improving legal effectiveness and administrative reform is not only an intrinsic requirement of the process of building a rule-of-law state but also an important condition to ensure the sustainable development of the market economy and international integration of Vietnam. With the right orientation and synchronous solutions, the Vietnam Fatherland Front will continue to affirm its role as a center for gathering and promoting the strength of great national unity, contributing to realizing the aspiration for national development by 2030, with a vision to 2045 - Dr. Nguyen Van Pha affirmed.

Concerned about the strategy of great national unity in the coming period, Dr. Nguyen Tien Dinh, member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, former Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, stated: The Draft Political Report of the 14th National Party Congress has identified the guiding viewpoint of "Strongly arousing the tradition of patriotism, aspiration for development, spirit of solidarity, will of self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-strengthening, national pride; promoting cultural and human strength as endogenous resources and strong driving force for development", "promoting the strength, mettle, and intelligence of the Vietnamese people, the great national unity bloc and the people's hearts; combining national strength with the strength of the times". Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, stated: "To achieve long-term development goals, the country must have strategic breakthroughs, based on three major pillars: national strength and Vietnamese people; natural resources and cultural-historical traditions and science-technology, innovation and digital transformation". Therefore, the requirements for the strategy of great national unity of Vietnam in the coming years need to inherit and promote the tradition of patriotism, solidarity, and unanimity for the country of the Vietnamese people; promote the role and strength of the entire political system in implementing the great national unity under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , which is socialist democracy, the socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people, for the people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, people's organizations, the Communist Party of Vietnam, the vanguard of the working class, at the same time the vanguard of the working people and of the entire Vietnamese nation, the ruling party, leading the State and society.

In addition, consolidate and strongly promote the alliance of classes, strata, ethnicities and religions in society to join the political system in entering the era of national development. Develop the country, put national interests above all, bring happiness to the people, ensure social justice. Promote democracy, implement social consensus in all work. Promote the role of the Vietnamese community abroad for the development of the country in the era of development. Promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in gathering broad solidarity to build the great national solidarity bloc and social consensus. Strengthen solidarity and unity within the Party, build a clean and strong Party to ensure that the Party is always strong, worthy of being the leading force of the State and society.

Dr. Nguyen Tien Dinh emphasized: The era of national development is to accelerate and make a breakthrough in building and developing the socio-economy of Vietnam to become a developed country with high income by 2045. But more importantly, Vietnam must be a rich and prosperous country, with people living a prosperous and happy life. That goal is a great and fundamental driving force to gather and build the great national unity bloc, combined with the strength of the times to successfully build Socialism in Vietnam. Therefore, in order to build the great national unity bloc, the above requirements need to be considered and implemented synchronously and effectively to gather and attract the strength of the whole nation to accompany the Party and State into the new era to realize the set goals.
