Tay Ninh: 100% of industrial parks have centralized wastewater treatment systems that meet standards.

Up to now, 33/33 industrial parks in Tay Ninh province (including 27 industrial parks in the former Long An province and 6 industrial parks in the former Tay Ninh province) have had their environmental records approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment or the Provincial People's Committee.

Notably, 100% of industrial parks have built centralized wastewater collection and treatment systems, ensuring that treated wastewater meets column A standards according to QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT before being discharged into the receiving environment.

Currently, 30/33 industrial parks have completed the installation of automatic and continuous wastewater monitoring systems and transmitted data to the Department of Agriculture and Environment to serve monitoring and supervision work.

The remaining 3 industrial parks have not completed the installation. According to the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Vo Minh Thanh, 1 of them has installed an automatic wastewater monitoring station, however, because there is no wastewater generated, the station cannot be put into operation and connected to data. The remaining 2 industrial parks have a small number of secondary enterprises or production activities that do not generate much wastewater, so they do not have the conditions to install a monitoring station.

The People's Committee of Tay Ninh province has issued many documents urging and reminding relevant units to urgently complete the installation of automatic monitoring. In the coming time, the province will direct competent agencies to strengthen supervision and at the same time consider strictly handling cases of delay according to the provisions of the Law on Environmental Protection.
