(Long Hau Industrial Park, Can Giuoc Commune, Tay Ninh Province), Mr. Do Minh Tan - an employee of the factory's material management department, has always promoted a sense of responsibility, dedication to work and passion for creativity.

With his efforts in technical innovation, especially the initiative to Improve the cutting die, it has brought practical results to the company. This initiative also helped him to be honored with a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee in 2024.

Every day, Mr. Tan performs the task of checking, entering inventory, tracking imported raw materials, and allocating them appropriately to production stages. In addition, he is also responsible for reporting import - export - inventory for Korean partners and performing many specialized tasks such as calibrating measuring equipment, designing grain cutting knives according to each product size. His work requires meticulousness, accuracy and a high sense of responsibility.

Not only did he complete his assigned tasks well, Mr. Tan also sought to improve productivity and save production costs for the company. From practical observations, he realized that PP cutting knife molds were previously designed according to individual sizes, each size required a single knife set, making the cutting process time-consuming, low productivity, and high mold manufacturing costs.

“It is very expensive to test a new mold each time. The company has hundreds of product sizes, and if each mold is made separately, the cost and time will increase a lot. I wonder why we can’t pair large knife sets to maximize efficiency?” - Mr. Tan shared.

When he started to implement the idea, he encountered many difficulties. The testing required high precision, each time the knife was assembled, it had to be tested 30-40 times, cut, measured, produced and then re-checked the size. Just a small deviation would cause the mold to be destroyed, causing significant damage. "If I had not been persistent, I probably would have given up. But thinking about the huge cost of the mold, I was even more determined to find the best solution for the company" - Mr. Tan said.

With the support of related departments: Cutting room, electromechanical, production and quality control, after many trials, Mr. Tan succeeded in designing a pair of knives. This initiative helps to significantly improve production efficiency.

Mr. Tan added: “If before, each day only reached about 2,000 product boxes, now it can increase to 4,000-6,000 boxes. Not only saving time, the initiative also helps the company reduce mold making costs by hundreds of millions of dong per year and save operating costs by more than 20 million dong per month. The company's leaders highly appreciate this initiative, so I am very happy and proud.”

That success is not only the result of innovative ideas but also a testament to the spirit of solidarity and coordination between departments in the company - where everyone shares the same goal of production efficiency. In addition to the above favorite initiative, he also implemented many other initiatives, bringing great efficiency to the company.
