Two cars were completely burned after a collision.

Following a collision between two trucks, a fierce fire broke out. Locals broke open the doors and rescued two people trapped inside the cabins before the flames engulfed both vehicles.

At approximately 3:00 AM on March 25th, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Ho Chi Minh Highway and Provincial Road 744 in Ben Chua Hamlet, Thanh An Commune (Ho Chi Minh City), involving a truck with license plate 51R and another truck with license plate 93A.

According to initial information, at the time of the accident, the truck with license plate 51R was carrying sand and traveling on provincial road DT744 from Dau Tieng commune towards Thanh An commune. Upon reaching the intersection with Ho Chi Minh Highway, it collided with truck 93A, which was carrying approximately 16 tons of cashew nuts and traveling on Ho Chi Minh Highway from Thanh An towards Tay Ninh province.

The powerful collision caused the truck carrying cashew nuts to overturn, and both vehicles burst into flames.

Hearing the loud noise, local residents quickly arrived, broke down the doors, and rescued the driver and co-driver trapped in the cabin of the sand truck. The driver of the cashew nut truck sustained minor injuries and managed to open the door and escape the cabin before the flames engulfed it.

As of 11 a.m. on the same day, authorities were still investigating and processing the scene, and investigating the cause of the accident.

According to local residents, because the intersection is under construction and lacks lighting and traffic lights, it poses a significant danger to vehicles passing through.
