Restrictions on waterway traffic on many routes in the North.

The Inland Waterway Authority of Region I has just announced restrictions on inland waterway traffic at Dap Cau Bridge, Ho Bridge, Cam Ly Railway Bridge, Da Phuc Railway Bridge, and Bac Giang Railway Bridge due to heavy rain and rising water levels and strong currents.

Traffic restrictions will be in effect from 5:30 PM today (September 10th) until further notice from the Inland Waterway Authority of Region I.

Specifically, the area of ​​the navigation channel through the Đáp Cầu bridge, located at kilometer 36+000 on the Cầu River, within the administrative boundaries of Bắc Ninh city, Bắc Ninh province and Việt Yên town, Bắc Giang province, is restricted.

The area of ​​the waterway passing through the Ho Bridge navigation channel, at kilometer marker 31+000 on the Duong River, is located in Thuan Thanh town, Bac Ninh province and Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province.

The area of ​​the waterway passing through the navigation channel of the Cam Ly railway bridge, at kilometer marker 12+000 on the Luc Nam River, is located in Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.

The area of ​​the waterway passing through the navigation channel of the Bac Giang railway bridge, at kilometer marker 36+000 on the Thuong River, is located in Bac Giang City, Bac Giang Province.

The area of ​​the waterway passing through the navigation channel of the Da Phuc railway bridge, at kilometer marker 04+000 on the Cong River, is located in Soc Son district, Hanoi city and Pho Yen city, Thai Nguyen province.

Restrictions on inland waterway traffic in the areas of the navigation channels passing through Phu Luong Bridge (railway and road), Lai Vu Bridge (railway and road), Binh Bridge, An Thai Bridge, and May Bridge in Hai Duong province.

Accordingly, all watercraft are prohibited from navigating through the navigation channels of these bridges, except for vessels performing rescue, relief, and traffic control/guidance duties to ensure traffic safety.

This agency requires all inland waterway vessels traveling to the area to strictly follow the instructions of the authorities, regulate and ensure inland waterway traffic safety, and strictly comply with the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic.
