(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the evening of April 15th, in Thuong Xuan district, the Thanh Hoa Tourism and Culture Promotion Center and Film Center organized a public art program and mobile film screening to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Outstanding artistic performances at the program

At the program, delegates and a large number of people in Thuong Xuan district enjoyed a cultural performance by artists and actors from the Thanh Hoa Tourism and Culture Promotion Center and Film Center. The performance included songs and dances praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, love for the homeland and the Vietnamese people; the tradition of solidarity and close ties among ethnic communities; reflecting the changes achieved in the province's and Vietnam's literature and art over the past 50 years; and celebrating the contributions of Thanh Hoa's artists to the development of the province's and country's culture and art. Among the highlights were several outstanding performances such as the medley "The Party is My Life - He is the Unwavering Faith," "Love in Thanh Hoa," "Thuong Xuan Resounds with a Song of Pride," and "My House is on the Hillside"...

Next, delegates and the public watched the documentaries "The Road to Independence" and "The Story of the Smell of Burning Grass."

Through art performances and mobile film screenings, the aim is to affirm the achievements, theoretical and practical values ​​of Vietnamese literature and art in general, and Thanh Hoa province in particular, over the 50 years since the country's reunification. At the same time, it aims to raise awareness among officials, Party members, and all segments of the population, especially the younger generation in the province, about the position, role, and important contributions of literature and art and artists to the cause of national construction and defense. This also affirms the profound concern of the Party and State for literature and art.
