At the meeting, delegates passed a resolution approving the policy of rearranging commune-level administrative units in Phu Tan district. Specifically, the names of the communes will be adjusted, including: Phu Tan commune (including Phu My town, Phu Hung, Tan Hoa, Tan Trung communes); Phu An commune (including Phu An, Phu Tho , Phu Xuan communes); Cho Vam commune (including Cho Vam town, Phu Thanh, Phu Thanh communes); Binh Thanh Dong commune (including Binh Thanh Dong, Phu Binh, Hiep Xuong communes), Hoa Lac commune (including Hoa Lac, Phu Hiep communes), Phu Lam commune (including Long Hoa, Phu Lam, Phu Long communes).

Previously, Phu Tan district organized a voter consultation on adjusting the names of communes, except for Phu Tan commune, which remained the same.
