Full dimensions of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 foldable smartphone revealed

There have been quite a few leaks about the Galaxy Z Fold7 in recent times, giving us our first look at Samsung's next foldable smartphone. And recently, famous leaker Ice Universe has also shared with us the full size information of the successor model Z Fold6.

Accordingly, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is only 3.9mm thick when opened and 8.9mm when folded. That will make it the thinnest book-shaped foldable smartphone ever when opened, even beating the current "king" OPPO Find N5 with a thickness of 4.2mm.

The full dimensions of the Galaxy Fold7 are said to be 158.4 x 143.1 x 3.9 mm when unfolded. Compared to the Z Fold6, the device is taller and wider, and of course thinner. The Fold7 also beats the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in terms of thinness.

Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 will have thinner bezels. The image below is the bezel of the Fold6, which is said to be 1.9mm. The next generation will reduce it to 1mm, while the bezel of the Flip7 will be 1.2mm.

Despite its ultra-thin body, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is said to still have a 4,400 mAh battery like the current model and use the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip. Samsung is said to continue its strategy of launching thin and light phones instead of equipping high-capacity batteries.

The new foldable smartphone duo Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 are expected to launch in July 2025. Both come pre-installed with Android 16 operating system with One UI 8.0 user interface.
