Mr. Be has been the Chairman of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange in Dang Hung Phuoc Commune since 2013. As the head of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange in Dang Hung Phuoc Commune, Mr. Be is always concerned about the Association's operation methods and how to help Victims of Agent Orange in the most effective and practical way. Because most families of Victims of Agent Orange in Dang Hung Phuoc Commune have difficult lives and need support and assistance from the community and society.
Therefore, in the activities of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange in Dang Hung Phuoc Commune, Mr. Be has left a strong impression. Mr. Be and his brothers in the Executive Committee of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange in the Commune regularly do a good job of mobilizing agencies, units, and benefactors to help Victims of Agent Orange.
As the Chairman of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange in Dang Hung Phuoc Commune, he has continuously developed the emulation work of the Association, becoming one of the Associations of Victims of Agent Orange at the commune level leading the emulation movement "For Victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam" launched by the Central Association. The Association has helped many families of Victims of Agent Orange overcome difficulties, and has been highly appreciated by the Association at higher levels, the Party Committee, and the local government, and has awarded many Certificates of Merit.

Mr. Be said that Dang Hung Phuoc commune currently has 34 victims of Agent Orange. On average, each year, the Association mobilizes about 100 million VND to support and help victims of Agent Orange, mainly by giving gifts of necessities, building “Agent Orange shelters”, supporting production, providing free medical examinations and medicine, etc.
Mr. Be himself also went to many agencies and units, met with benefactors to mobilize resources to support the disadvantaged cases of Agent Orange victims in Dang Hung Phuoc commune.
Specifically, the families of AO victims that the Association of AO victims of Dang Hung Phuoc commune and Mr. Be often visit and give gifts to are: Mrs. Nguyen Thi On (born in 1955, Dang Phong Tren hamlet), whose husband was a soldier who died in 2008, and whose child is an AO victim, seriously ill and paralyzed; or Mr. Phan Thanh Long (born in 1977, Dang Phong Duoi hamlet), a demobilized soldier, whose only daughter is an AO victim, seriously ill, with congenital disabilities since childhood, and many other AO victims in difficult circumstances needing help.
Mr. Be shared: “For many years working with the Association of Victims of Agent Orange in Dang Hung Phuoc commune, I have had the opportunity to visit many families of Victims of Agent Orange and to meet and sympathize with victims who are deformed, have congenital disabilities, are paralyzed, and live a vegetative life...
With the function and role of social and charity workers, my colleagues and I in the Executive Committee of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Dang Hung Phuoc Commune regularly seek advice from local leaders and authorities to propose the most effective measures to support and help victims.
At the same time, the Association's staff and members go to many places to mobilize resources for the Association's activities, helping as many victims as possible...".
With his diligence, dedication to work, and devotion to Agent Orange victims, Mr. Be's work in the activities of the Association of Agent Orange victims in Dang Hung Phuoc commune as well as helping the poor, those in difficult circumstances, and Agent Orange victims has left a good impression in the hearts of the people here.
Mr. Be is an active person, throughout all activities of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange in Dang Hung Phuoc commune and local emulation movements; constantly striving to do well in the Association's work, contributing to the good implementation of social security policies in the locality.
