Trade and tourism expectations

In the period of 2026 - 2030, Hiep Duc commune aims to strive for an average growth rate of total product in the area of 11%/year or more. Average income per capita by 2030 will reach more than 95 million VND and ensure compliance with the criteria of an advanced new rural commune.

To complete some of the above breakthrough targets, the locality has set out many key solutions and applied them in practice to achieve the proportion of industries in the economic structure with agriculture - forestry - fishery accounting for 23%; industry - construction 38%; trade - services 39%.

According to the leader of Hiep Duc commune, the locality possesses potential and advantages in terms of nature, landscape and environment to develop tourism economy in the direction of community tourism and eco-tourism. Therefore, at the beginning of the 2025 - 2030 term, the commune will prioritize planning and promoting favorable conditions for the business community to explore investment opportunities to form tourist attractions and eco-tourism at Khe Cai stream, Hon Kem Da Dung, Song Tranh 4 hydropower plant...

In addition, Hiep Duc commune has provincial-level historical and cultural relics, typically Phuoc Son communal house, Binh Hue communal house, Lo Ren well, Helicopter Victory stele...

These “red addresses” are opportunities for localities to attract investment to expand the tourism chain, connecting routes and tourist destinations along the Thu Bon River, combining the exploitation of historical and cultural relics, landscapes, traditional craft villages, and community tourism destinations with neighboring communes.

In addition, the Party Committee of Hiep Duc commune plans to propose the construction of a new Hiep Duc market; focus on reviewing and listing commercial and service land funds to call for and attract investment, and build rural commercial infrastructure. At the same time, there will be policies to support establishments and business households to improve their scale of operations, participate in trade promotion, and consume products.

Agro-industrial breakthrough

Formed after the merger of Tan Binh town, Que Luu commune and Que Tan commune, the new Hiep Duc commune has many potentials and advantages for developing garden economy and farm economy.

An official of Hiep Duc commune shared that Que Luu commune (old) is developing a garden economic model with grapefruit, durian, mangosteen, and bamboo for bamboo shoots. These models have initially brought encouraging signs.

Typically, Nguyen Ngoc Chinh's household grows durian, grapefruit, and mangosteen on an area of about 2.5 hectares. One hectare of durian has about 500 trees, and after 4 years, it bears fruit at a selling price of 90,000 VND/kg. Thus, the harvest from durian trees is many times higher than that from acacia trees.

Aiming for an average growth rate of 11% per year, Hiep Duc commune considers promoting the restructuring of the agricultural sector towards green agriculture, ecological agriculture, increasing added value, and applying high technology to production as important solutions that need to be implemented methodically and scientifically.

Chairman of Hiep Duc Commune People's Committee Luu Hoang An shared that the locality will develop typical and branded growing and raw material areas; create conditions for investors to access stable and long-term land to invest in production infrastructure. Promote the development of garden economy, farm economy associated with the development of OCOP products and rural eco-tourism.

The commune will continue to encourage people to plant large timber forests associated with FSC forest certification, creating concentrated raw material areas to supply factories. Research on converting ineffective acacia and rubber plantation areas to medicinal plant cultivation.

Combine planting medicinal plants under the forest canopy, prioritizing planting native trees. Encourage investment in forestry development according to cooperative models, cooperative groups and production linkages to promote sustainable efficiency.

In the period of 2026 - 2030, Hiep Duc commune strives to attract investment in building infrastructure for 1 industrial cluster and 1 hydropower plant. To do this, Hiep Duc will continue to review, adjust and supplement the planning of the industrial cluster network to ensure synchronization, unity and conformity with the general development orientation of Da Nang city. Effectively implement policies to support investment in technical infrastructure of industrial clusters, propose budget allocation for site clearance and complete investment in framework infrastructure.

In addition, the commune proactively provides information to attract businesses to invest, prioritizing the development of industries with export potential such as industrial garments, deep processing of agricultural and forestry products... to create jobs for many workers.
