The effect of a book

The positive effect is that right after the book was launched, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), a number of businesses in Soc Son district such as Toan Nang Co., Ltd., Thanh Binh, Cuong Loi and Phu Lo Jasmine Association voluntarily contributed 172 million VND to express their gratitude and honor the 43 historical figures named in the book, each worth 4 million VND.

Among the 43 historical figures named in the book, there is a rather special case. That is Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hanh (village 1, Quang Ngan commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province) is a relative of martyr Phung Thi Bich Phung - a teacher who used her body to shield students from cluster bombs during the anti-American war at Tien Duoc Primary School (Soc Son district, Hanoi city) and heroically sacrificed. Because martyr Phung's relatives live far away, the Organizing Committee searched for an address to send a gift of gratitude to Mrs. Hanh, much to the emotion of her family, clan and the locality of Quang Ngan commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province.

In Lap Tri parish (Minh Tri commune, Soc Son district), there is a character named Maria Bui Thi Lich mentioned in the article "Mother is forever our mother". Mother Lich is a full-fledged Catholic. After coming to the district to receive a gift of gratitude, Mother Lich's daughter-in-law told the story to the head of the family and the head of the family decided that on the anniversary of Mother Maria Bui Thi Lich's death that year (July 24, 2022), the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren would gather to listen to the head of the family read the article "Mother is forever our mother" printed in the book "Following the footsteps of Phu Dong", vowing to follow the mother's example, upholding the lifestyle of "Good life, good religion", "Accompanying the nation" of Catholics who always "Respect God and love the country", "Living the Gospel in the heart of the nation to serve the happiness of the people".
