The series of mock-up images reveals the actual design of the iPhone 17 models, especially the ultra-slim model with a thickness of 5.5 mm.

The YouTube channel iDeviceHelp has just posted a video allegedly showing models of the three upcoming iPhone 17 devices, designed based on "internal documents" provided by Majin Bu. Bu is a well-known leaker who has shared many rumors related to the iPhone 17.

The video provides a clearer picture of the improvements to the iPhone 17. Based on rumors, Apple plans to change the camera design on the iPhone 17 Pro, moving from the familiar square camera module to a strip of cameras spanning the width of the device.

Despite the redesigned camera setup, the iPhone 17 Pro's three lenses are still arranged in a triangle in the top left corner. Meanwhile, the LED flash and LiDAR sensor have been moved to the top right.

This design could also be extended to the iPhone 17 Air, the ultra-thin model expected to replace the iPhone Plus. However, the camera module will be narrower in height because the device is rumored to have only one lens.

The standard iPhone 17 still retains the pill-shaped camera module like the iPhone 16. This suggests that Apple will continue to clearly differentiate between the regular iPhone 17 models and the Pro line.

Based on the model, the button placement on the iPhone 17 remains unchanged from the iPhone 16. The left edge includes the Action and volume buttons, while the right edge houses the power button and Camera Control.

The video also shows the feel of holding the iPhone 17 Air compared to other models. Most rumors suggest the iPhone 17 Air has a 6.6-inch screen, larger than the iPhone 17 Pro but smaller than the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the iPhone 17 Air is 5.5 mm (approximately 0.22 inches) thick at its thinnest point. This means the frame is only 5.5 mm thick, but the camera module will protrude more.

Last month, analyst Jeff Pu stated that the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max would feature aluminum frames, while the iPhone 17 Air would use a titanium frame. Apple first used a titanium frame on the iPhone 15 Pro in 2023. However, this year, this material may only appear on the iPhone 17 Air due to environmental concerns.

Apple is reportedly testing a wireless reverse charging feature, allowing the iPhone 17 Pro to charge other Apple devices. According to AppleInsider , most of the current leaked images come from accessory manufacturers. The official design of the iPhone 17 may still change before Apple introduces the product to the public.
