The series of model photos shows the actual design of the iPhone 17 models, especially the ultra-thin model with a thickness of 5.5 mm.

YouTube channel iDeviceHelp has just posted a video that purports to be mockups of the three upcoming iPhone 17 models, designed based on “internal documents” provided by Majin Bu, a well-known leaker who has shared many rumors related to the iPhone 17.

The video gives a better idea of ​​the improvements to the iPhone 17. Based on rumors, Apple plans to change the camera design on the iPhone 17 Pro, moving from the familiar square camera cluster to a camera strip that spans the width of the device.

Despite the change in the camera cluster, the iPhone 17 Pro's three lenses are still arranged in a triangle in the left corner. Meanwhile, the LED flash and LiDAR sensor are moved to the right corner.

This design could also extend to the iPhone 17 Air, the ultra-thin model expected to replace the iPhone Plus. However, the camera cluster height is narrower because the device is rumored to have only one lens.

The standard iPhone 17 still retains the pill camera cluster like the iPhone 16. This shows that Apple will continue to clearly differentiate the regular iPhone 17 models and the Pro line.

Based on the model, the button placement of the iPhone 17 remains unchanged from the iPhone 16. The left side houses the Action and volume buttons, while the right side houses the power button and Camera Control.

The video also shows how the iPhone 17 Air feels in the hand compared to other models. Most rumors say the iPhone 17 Air has a 6.6-inch screen, larger than the iPhone 17 Pro but smaller than the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the iPhone 17 Air will be 5.5mm (about 0.22 inches) thick at its thinnest point. That means the chassis will be just 5.5mm thick, but the camera bump will be more prominent.

Last month, analyst Jeff Pu said the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max will feature aluminum frames, while the iPhone 17 Air will feature a titanium frame. Apple first introduced a titanium frame on the iPhone 15 Pro in 2023. However, this year, the material may only appear on the iPhone 17 Air due to environmental concerns.

Apple is said to be testing a reverse wireless charging feature that would allow the iPhone 17 Pro to charge other Apple devices. According to AppleInsider , most of the current leaked images come from accessory manufacturers. The official design of the iPhone 17 could still change before Apple introduces the product to the public.
