DNO - On the morning of June 24th, during a meeting with a delegation from NVIDIA Corporation (USA), Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the corporation's interest and support in implementing programs to support and train in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) for the city.

During a meeting with the corporation earlier that morning, the city and local universities committed to participating in training programs in the fields of AI and semiconductor chips.
Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, Le Trung Chinh, expressed his confidence that with the efforts of the city government, the support and assistance of NVIDIA Corporation, the determination of universities, and the readiness of facilities; especially with the National Assembly considering and approving proposals for special development mechanisms and policies for Da Nang city… these will provide a legal basis and create favorable conditions for Da Nang to implement activities related to semiconductor microchips.
City leaders and universities in the area are committed to and determined to effectively implement the work contents; at the same time, they hope that the corporation will continue to support and effectively implement the programs.

Mr. Ettikan K. Karuppiah, NVIDIA's Chief Technology Officer for the South Pacific region, expressed his honor in collaborating and cooperating with the city on the development of AI.
The visit to Da Nang aims to concretize commitments to support the development of the AI sector in Vietnam. The corporation will continue to support Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular in this area.
During the working session with the city, the corporation discussed various related issues, including: implementing a training program for lecturers; continuing to implement training programs to enhance students' capabilities to meet market demands; and discussing the planned organization of a program or competition for Da Nang students…
Representatives from NVIDIA also expressed their desire for the Da Nang Center for Integrated Circuit Design and Artificial Intelligence Research and Training (DSAC) to consider implementing retraining and skills enhancement programs for engineers currently working in the industry in the city to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of the AI field.
