DNO - On the morning of June 24, at the reception of the working delegation of NVIDIA Corporation (USA), Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the corporation's interest and support in implementing support and training programs in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) for the city.

At the working session with the corporation in the morning of the same day, the city and local universities committed to participating in training programs in the fields of AI and semiconductor microchips.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh expressed his confidence in the efforts of the city government, the support and assistance of NVIDIA Corporation, the determination of universities and the ready infrastructure conditions; in particular, the National Assembly is considering approving the proposal of specific development policy mechanisms for Da Nang city... as a legal basis, creating favorable conditions for Da Nang to deploy semiconductor activities.

The city leaders as well as the universities in the area committed and determined to implement the working contents well; at the same time, they hope that the group will continue to support and effectively implement the programs.

Mr. Ettikan K. Karuppiah, NVIDIA's Chief Technology Officer for the South Pacific region, expressed his honor in coordinating and collaborating with the city in the development of the AI field.

The visit and work in Da Nang aims to concretize commitments to support the development of the AI field in Vietnam. The Group will continue to support Vietnam in general and Da Nang in this matter.

During the working program with the city, the group discussed many related contents, including: implementing training programs for lecturers; continuing to implement training programs, improving students' capacity to meet market requirements; discussing the planned organization of a program and competition for Da Nang students...

NVIDIA representatives also hope that the Da Nang Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence Research and Training Center (DSAC) will consider implementing retraining programs to improve the skills of engineers working in the industry in the city to meet the increasing demands of the AI field.
